Founded in 1990, Wind Rider Stables grew out of Dan L. Russell’s passion for and lifelong love of horses. With over thirty years experience in raising and training horses, Wind Rider Stables offers a wide variety of activities and services.

We seek to create a positive atmosphere for enhancing self-development with our horse clinics and youth camp. To that end, our programs are designed to build confidence, discipline, sound judgment, self-control, self-esteem, teamwork and a solid work ethic. We encourage both individuality and mutual respect, not to mention emphasizing the determination to pursue worthy yet challenging goals.

At Wind Rider Stables we strive for quality and integrity in all that we do. Our dedication to these ideals extends to the colts we sell, the stud service we provide, the programs and recreational activities we offer, and even to the simple experience of rural life on a farm.
