Each individual will be introduced to the challenge of basic horsemanship. Students will learn to lead, harness, hitch, and drive a team of Registered Belgian draft horses weighing roughly 4,000 lbs. Everyone who completes the course will participate in a graduation ceremony and receive a certificate of completion. We hope to impart some new skills to the students, while ultimately providing a positive growth experience.
